... | Jimmy: Artistic Director Growing up in 1960s Chicago, Jimmy always knew he wanted to be an artist. While he studied to become a commercial artist, his interest gradually shifted to fine art. An accomplished sculptor, Jimmy was fascinated by hair as a moving, sculptable medium. At 21, his career as a stylist began and he joined the Zuri crew in 1982. Jimmy opened his own salon, The Moderns, in 1992 and enjoyed nearly ten years as a salon owner. He has since returned to Zuri as Artistic Director. Along with art, Jimmy's interests include architecture and traveling. |

... | Elan: Designer Stylist Elan graduated from the Zuri Institute of Hair Design, and has joined Zuri as a stylist. He takes pride in working with his clients so they can achieve a salon look at home. His passion for hairstyling lends to his expanding knowledge of the industry. He most recently attended an advanced training seminar--Creative Cutting--at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California. Elan enjoys the outdoors, reading, and volunteering in the community, as well as meeting new people. Currently Elan is receiving his Masters Degree in Spiritual Physcology at Naropa in Boulder. |

... | Megan: Chem-Tech Megan became a Zuri employee in 2006 when she was hired as a hostess. She has since graduated from Zuri Institute of Hair Design and is currently a Zuri colorist and stylist. Megan is also involved with Zuri Institute of Hair Design as an Instructor and the acting ZIHD agetnt. Currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy at Metropolitan State College, Megan enjoys visiting local coffee houses, bike riding, dance music, and competing in trivia matches. |

She moved here with her husband Andre who is enrolled in a 3 year residency program at the University Hospital. ... | Tara: Hostess Castle Rock native and Zuri hostess since 2005, Tara enjoys meeting new people who visit Zuri every day. A ski and lacrosse enthusiast. Tara graduated with a degree in History from Hamilton College in 2008. Tara was a capitain on the winning 2008 NCAA (Div.3) Womens Lacross, National Chapionship team. After graduating she took on a job teaching at George Watsons college in Edinburgh for a year. Tara is stateside again and, if she is not working, can be found outdoors, hiking, biking or walking her Golden Retriever, Lucy. |
